The Capital City of South Africa, Tshwane will become the backdrop for an unforgettable experience on Sunday 27 August 2023 as the city prepares to host the inaugural Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K!

Starting at one of South Africa’s most iconic landmarks, the Union Buildings, fireworks can be expected as the event has attracted a fantastic lineup of elite athletes including South Africa’s 10k record holder Precious Mashele, Elroy Gelant, Nicholas Seoposengwe, Kabelo Seboko, Glenrose Xaba, Cacisile Sosibo and SA’s darling of road running, Gerda Steyn. Lesotho’s Neheng Khatala is always ready to battle, while Uganda’s Docus Ajok and Ethiopia’s Debash Desta should never be underestimated.
In addition to the excitement of an exceptional Elite Race, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K will also highlight the city's splendor, treating runners and walkers to an unrivalled route atmosphere that has become synonymous with the Series.
