In preparation for the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series’ debut in Tshwane in August, residents are invited to join a fun-filled and rewarding Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K 'City Clean-Up' on Saturday, 26 August 2023 starting at the Absa Lilian Ngoyi Branch at 08:30.
“The City Clean-Up is a fun way for the community of Tshwane to get involved as we prepare the city for race day,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series. “"We're calling on all Tshwane residents to come together and contribute to the city's ‘glow’ ahead of the inaugural Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K. Boasting an impressive elite racing component, this mass participation road race is set to showcase Tshwane’s splendour, vibrant atmosphere, and its incredible people."
In closing Meyer adds: “The City Clean-Up is open to anyone and everyone. You don’t need to sign up. Just arrive at the venue on the morning; our team will be there to welcome you. Each participant will receive gloves and a bag. Once completed, Absa will provide delicious breakfast packs to all volunteers. We can’t wait to team up with Tshwane residents on Saturday 26 August, as Tshwane gets ready to shine at the inaugural Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K.”
