The streets of Durban will be filled with excitement this coming Sunday, 15 October 2023, as runners and walkers of all ages and fitness backgrounds, from elite athletes to social participants, come together to celebrate the debut of the much-anticipated Boxer Super Run.
"The Boxer Super Run welcomes participants of all backgrounds, whether they're elite runners, casual joggers or leisurely walkers," says Lee-Ann Pillay, Boxer Superstores Head of Department: Marketing. "Tailored to individual running experiences, entrants have the option to join either the Open Wave or the Super Social Wave. The Open Wave will kick off at 07:00 and caters to the more competitive runner, offering an ideal opportunity for those seeking to challenge their personal bests. The Super Social Wave, however, caters to participants who relish the social aspect of the sport. Instead of chasing personal records, we encourage these entrants to express their unique style by dressing up and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere."
"Online registration for the Boxer Super Run will close at midnight on Monday (October 9th)," confirms Pillay. "But for those eager runners and walkers who may miss the deadline, we have some promising news. A limited number of late entries will be available during race pack collection on Saturday, October 14th. These entries will however be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage runners to arrive early to avoid disappointment.”

The Top 3 male and female finishers in the following Open Wave categories - Open Category, Junior, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+ - will also be rewarded for their effort.
