About the 2024 Durban International Marathon: Boasting a World Athletics Label Road Race status, in 2024 the fourth edition of the Durban International Marathon will consist of three events:
· A 42km race that is open to all runners while for the third time running, the race will incorporate the prestigious South African Marathon Championships.
· A new edition to the programme in 2024 is the Confederation of African Athletics Region 5 Championships which see top athletes from the 14 SADC countries take the starting line.
· A 10km race that can be enjoyed by all runners, from the elites to newcomers to the sport.
