Over the course of the three days, over 2000 athletes from various local clubs, sister provinces and neighboring countries competed in different events. The championships saw numerous athletes meet South African qualifying standards for 2025 National Track and Field Championships and a significant number of personal best performances were achieved. The competition was fierce, with many events going down to the wire and athletes digging deep to find the extra edge needed to claim victory.

The Championships also featured a number of special moments including a stunning performance delivered by Maxime Chaumeton of UJ in the senior men 1500m.
